How to get a code for presale tickets? ›

Join the fan club from the artist's official fan club site. As a club member, you'll get a unique presale code before the upcoming ticket presale starts. Some artists give fans the chance to buy tickets and a fan club membership together during their presales on Ticketmaster.com — so you won't need a presale code.

Receive an Offer Code

Those who registered during the registration window and pass the Ticketmaster analysis will then be randomly selected to receive an offer code from Ticketmaster.

Presales give fans with codes the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public. However, the codes don't guarantee tickets. Not necessarily. While presale tickets may sometimes be priced slightly higher due to their exclusive nature, they often come with discounts or special offers, making them a great value for attendees.

Getting a code does not guarantee you'll receive tickets. The Verified Fan presale code will only work with the account that registered for it. If someone else buys tickets for you, they can transfer them to your account after.

Often the day before tickets for a concert go on sale to the general public, there's a chance to snag the best seats in a presale. Presales are often open to fan club members, frequent concert goers, and social media followers.

After Ticketmaster reviews your registration request, they'll send an email confirming your request the night before the sale begins. If approved, Ticketmaster will text an access code unique to you and you only; the code will be applicable when the Verified Fan pre-sale begins and cannot be shared or sold.

Sign up to receive special offers from Ticketmaster. Once you've signed up, use our desktop site to favorite all the artists, performers, teams and venues that you love, so we can notify you about upcoming sales in the future. App favorites don't generate presale emails.

Verified Fan does not guarantee everyone with a code will get a ticket. According to Ticketmaster, they use technology that “analyzes every single registrant to make sure they are real people interested in going to the show”. Fans are selected at random to receive an invitation to participate in the sale.

A presale code will be allocated to every email address used to register, so even if you have made a typo in the email address or you can no longer access it, a code has been created. Don't worry; you can contact our Customer Service team by emailing presale@umusic.com and they'll do their best to provide your code.

Are presale codes case sensitive? ›

What should I do if my code isn't working? Fan club presale codes are case sensitive, so be sure to enter your code exactly as it appears from the fan club! If you still get an incorrect code error, contact the fan club. A code doesn't guarantee a ticket — they could have sold out already!

As with any investment decision, it is important for buyers to carefully consider their options and carefully weigh the pros and cons before making a purchase.

Presales are a way for an artist to give their biggest fans early access to tickets. Before tickets go on sale, artists and their teams tell us how many tickets they want to make available, the price of the ticket, and when they want the sale(s) to start.

Passwords for pre-sales are often communicated directly to fans who are invited to participate. Some pre-sale passwords are sent by other entities like credit card companies, radio stations, and fan clubs. Go to Ticketmaster and locate the event you want to shop for. Join the waiting room. When the sale officially begins, you'll be given a place in line. Once it's your turn to shop, use the map to select your seats and then proceed to checkout.

Before the sale

If we've sent you a confirmation email that you've been randomly selected, we'll then send you a text message with an access code 12 and 24 hours before the presale. The message will include timing details, a link to where you can purchase your tickets and your access code.

If you registered for a ticket sale and received an access code through text or email from Ticketmaster, but it's not working, try checking these things first: Select the correct ticket type. Make sure you click or tap Registration Presale or Fan Presale on the ticket selection page. Make sure the event is on sale.

Depending on the type of presale, you may need to sign up to join the presale or get a code to access the ticket sale. Create a Ticketmaster account and favorite all the artists, performers, teams and venues that you love, so we can notify you by email about upcoming presales.

If you've signed up for emails from Ticketmaster or an artist's fan club, check your email settings and spam folder. Sometimes, presale emails can be mistakenly marked as spam or get buried in promotional tabs.
